Ohran Marie 

Ohran Marie represents Aurelyx’s newest proof of concept-the legacy of the psyche. This short explores how two opposing sides; our conscious and subconscious, can pull us into our own self destruction or our absolute liberation. Using the tale of “My Jolly Sailor Bold,” she weaves the tale of a wife, Maria, representing the conscious mind, longing for her husband, the sailor William. Her otherworldly song of waiting ultimately awakens her self conscious, represented by the ancient Siren, Thelxie. When these two opposing forces collide, we witness the struggle that each human being faces, and the question arises; how will we define our sense of agency-and at what cost?
